Over 75 people have signed up for the V*I*P* list when the Everyday Is Saturday Blueprint Series goes live. Think about that for a minute., I haven’t announced the price, the content, the time or anything else related to the series, yet 75 champions have enough faith in Sam Crowley’s message to add themselves to the V*I*P list.
Why is that?
One thought may be that more and more people are just sick and tired of living and working for someone else. They are not interested in living someone else’s dream. Here’s a short story to illustrate the point.
A fan of the radio show recently told me of a company meeting he attended. The company he worked for just made significant cutbacks that affected how employees were paid, etc. One executive who was there for the meeting stated that “he knew exactly how ‘they’ felt.” This was surprising to hear, beacuse the executive wreaked of narcissism, but he went on to offer the following explanation.
He said he now has to travel commercial and no longer has the benefit of the company plane. Well, now that you tell me that, I can totally see where you’re coming from. You poor thing. As if that wasn’t a dumb enough thing to say, he put the nail in the coffin by saying ” we now have to travel just like you, commercial.” Yikes! Insert foot in mouth Mr. Executive.
The point is this: The fan who relayed this message to me understands he is making someone else wealthy. He is creating their dream, not his own. At the same time, if Mr Executive wants a crony or family member in his spot, the employee is gone faster than a bottled water in Death Valley. Yesterday I received 100+ responses after I sent an email out to my list asking if they were eagles or pigeons. Everyone who responded screamed “I am an eagle Sam!” I was overwhelmed, it was truly amazing to hear from so many champions around the world. People who refuse to become a part of someone else’s plans. It was incredible.
Making everyday Saturday will not be easy for you, but it will be the most rewarding experience you have ever gone through. I am putting all of my effort into the seven week training. I will be doing no public speaking, no other boot camps, nothing. I owe it to all of you because I know exactly where you are. Contrary to executive I described in the earlier story, I do know how you feel and understand how badly you want to live life on your terms. It can and WILL happen.
