Move The Free Line And Watch Your Business Grow
I remember listening to Brad Fallon present at Mike Filsaime’s 7 Figure workshop in Long Island back in February. He was speaking about the “free line” and how it relates to marketing.
Think of a line going from left to right. Now put a mark just to the right of the starting point - moving from left to right. That is where old school marketers would start when giving something free away to their customers. It wouldn’t be much. As an example, if a fast food restaurant offers you 10% off your order if you purchase five super size meals, that is not moving the free line very far.
Consequently, if that same resaturant were to give you a free burger and fries with the purchase of a small drink, they have moved the free line substantailly. They did this in hopes you enjoy the product and come back again, as well as refer all your friends.
People often ask me “Sam, why not charge for your podcast?” or “Sam, why not charge more for boot camps, seminars, speaking, etc.?” The reason is because my free line extends way to the right. I want to over-deliver to so many people, that when I do ask them to make an investment it’s a no-brainer. I have built a trust level so high that very few, if any people question whether or not it is worth it.
Week two of the *Blueprint* seminar is tonight and we are ready to over-deliver once again. The teleclasses were only scheduled for 30 minutes, but last week we went 48 minutes. All champions on the call receive a recording of the teleclass and for that, they are very appreciative.
Everyday Is Saturday is growing faster than I ever imagined and I have no intentions of forgetting about the champions who are helping in our exponential growth. I am moving the free line and they are referring people from all around the globe. By the way, it always helps to have a quality product:)
If you’re in business, move the free line further out than the norm and watch your audience grow.
You are a champion.
