The Everyday Is Saturday Funding Solution - Part I
As I mentioned last week on my blog, the whole Everyday Is Saturday lifestyle revolves around people who are serious about stepping out in faith and going for it. When I say going for it, “It” is your dream. Whether you want to buy a business or a piece of real estate as your launching pad, you need to have a plan. If you don’t have a plan, forget about success, you’re just lost in the woods with no way out.
When I left my job I had a plan. My plan was this: Buy as much real estate as possible with as little of my own money while building my motivational website. They go hand in hand, EverydayIsSaturday.com is the teaching & speaking portion of my business, while real estate investing is the vehicle that will leave an inheritance for my children’s children (see Proverbs 13:22).
But how can you go after your dream if you have no financing? I mentioned that I purchased all of my investment properties with no money down but you just can’t do that with a business or even real estate these days with how tight the lending laws are now. Banks are a regulated industry and if you’ve been following the news at all over the past six months
then the words “sub prime lending” or “mortgage meltdown” certainly rings a bell. All of this sounds like a complete downer with no hope right? You need money to make money and money has never been more difficult to acquire.
That’s where the new Everyday Is Saturday funding solution comes in.
Let me reiterate a point I made earlier and will continue to bring up and that is You must have a plan for your funding. If you don’t already know what you would do with $200,000 or $25,000,000 then this solution will mean nothing to you and subsequently do nothing for you. If however, you have a plan and just need a funding source to help launch your dream and/or your business, then this solution is heaven-sent and will have you sending me an email faster than you can say “millionaire.”
