If You Can’t Take The Heat
I was interviewed by John Di Lemme Monday on his Millionaire Lifestyle Club call. The members of this club are individuals who have made an investment in John’s coaching program with the goal of achieving the millionaire lifestyle. After John interviewed me, I fielded questions for the last half hour of the call and most of the questions from these champions revolved around the topic of overcoming adversity and staying on track until your dream is realized.
To a person, nobody could believe I left a six-figure executive level job and then came back as a sales rep in the organization just a few months later. The reason for this is because my original dream of owning a franchise went south faster than a cement block thrown into the ocean. What could I do? I had to do what I knew best and that was to pick up the bag and start selling. Easy for me but not easy for others to accept.
The minute I arrived back in my former office as a sales rep, I took on a “No B.S.” mentality and let everyone know I was there to kick a$$ and not get trapped into senseless conversations or gossip. Slowly I worked my way back out of the hole I dug and was building the Everyday Is Saturday brand at the same time.
People asked was it difficult working for the same people you were in charge of just a few months earlier. No, it wasn’t difficult for me, but as I mentioned, it became extrememly difficult for individuals who settled for a life of medicority (not all the slaves were like this - it’s no different than any other office in America) to understand how a guy could just saunter back into a job, kick ass, build an online business, speak around the world on teleseminars and be genuinely happy with life - all in the same 24 hrs they had. The difference was my focus. As I mentioned, I had no time for small talk, if you weren’t looking to better yourself, than you did not derserve to be in my inner circle. “Whoa your inner circle Sam - that’s arrogant…” nah, just confidence that I know exactly where I’m going, so please don’t get in my way. Most people are like a bottle in the ocean, just crashing around aimlessly with the only direction being that of their boss. If their boss says jump, they say how high?
If you have the guts to step out in faith and live the life of a champion, you’ll see exactly what I’m talkning about. Jealousy will settle into the minds of your current inner circle as they begin to view you as a self-absorbed person, when in fact you are a dream-absorbed champion. Question: Do you have the courage to step out? Or do you feel more comfortable around the out of shape, stressed out, verbal-vomiting, negative know-it-alls going nowhere? Was that a clear enough question? The heat will get turned up around you, can you handle it? It gets intense my friend but your dream has to burn even hotter. I can go on and on about how ridiculous it got for me. I had managers locked up in offices at 7am reviewing my compensation package, pulling their hair out over the money I was making in half the time. The irony was I wasn’t even focused on money, just my dream (write that down - it’s a million dollar nugget!) You can always make more money but you can’t make more time. (write that down too!)
You see, I’ve been where you want to go. I’ve endured the slings and arrows and am happy to report back to the champion blog readers that your dream and your passion will always win out. The only way you lose is if you quit. When you give up. When you throw in the towel. I could’ve retired at 47 after 25 years in with the same organization sacrificing my family and quality of life in the process. Instead I paid the price and now live the life I love before the age of 40. All I had to do was develop the champion mindset and not listen to 97% of the people around me. I listened to my dream and you should too. Here are a couple testimonials John Di Lemme forwarded me after the Millionare Lifestyle Club call:
“I was on the AWESOME MLC call today with Sam Crowley!!! FIRED UP!!!!!!! Absolutely FANTASTIC!! I could really relate to Sam in so many ways. He was in corporate for 15 years…I’ve been in law enforcement/criminal justice for over 17 years now!! My two children have been asking me for over a year now when I’m going to leave my current job and have more time for them!! WOW. Seeing that in writing really makes me realize it’s time to have an undeniable commitment to my WHY and to step out of my comfort zone!! FIRED UP!!! Sam was truly an inspiration today!! I am willing to pay the price now for a lifetime of freedom. I am a Champion!!
THANK YOU SAM AND THANK YOU JOHN!!! I look forward to meeting Sam at the Main Event!!”
- Tracy L. Florida
“Sam’s story was very inspirational. He has gone through alot more and with more on the line than I have. Yet he has shown me that it is possible to change your life, overcome setbacks and to achieve your goals. I look forward to meeting Sam at the Main Event.”
- James H. Canada

That’s why I do what I do, for testimonials like the ones above. The Main Event they’re referring to is the 600 person three day event I will be the MC of, on stage with Dr John Maxwell, Coach Carter, Loral Langemeier and my friend John Di Lemme.
Can you overcome all the negativity around you and relaize greatness? Absolutely! The question is will you? I believe in you.
You are a champion.

I was on the call with Sam and John and sat with my chin dragging on the floor. Sam is incredibly inspiring and planted seeds of motivation within me. Thank you!
