Outpouring Of Love From Hawaii Presentation
I’m back in Cincinnati from an awesome 6 day trip to Hawaii. It’s Wednesday and I think my body is finally back on Eastern Standard Time:) Hawaii is 6 hrs behind Cincinnati, so when I returned home Monday it was a bit of an adjustment. The flight home was pretty cool as we saw the sunset over the Pacific Ocean and then saw it rise again over Arkansas - nice.
Let me tell you about the experience I had while speaking to 1200 champions in Hawaii.
I am still receiving emails by the dozens from people who were at the event. I have never felt so overwhelmed by such an outpouring of love as I feel from the champions at Liberty League. From the moment I arrived in Honolulu to the time I left, I was amazed at how appreciative they were of myself and my story of making Every Day Saturday. Trust me when I tell you, I was just as blessed as they were - truly amazing people.
I wanted to share a few of the emails I have received thus far to give the blog readers and idea of how powerful the event was - enjoy.
=====================
Oh My God, Sam, I’ve just listened to the download of your CD. I listened to you in Hawaii and as I’ve said before (on the Liberty League blog) you really touched my heart. But I’ve just listened to your CD and read the transcript and I’m blown away.
I have read so many books, Napoleon Hill, Dale Carnegie, Wallace Wattles, Robert Kyosaky etc etc etc, and I’ve learned so much from them - but it was like learning at a distance. I don’t know if it’s because I had a chance to meet you as a person and not just see you up on stage as a speaker, but there is something about the message that you are giving that has really hit home with me.
It’s now 3.50am in the UK and I am wide awake through jet lag, listening to your downloaded CD and it has made me cry. I cried when I heard you live, but hearing it again, away from the hype of the seminar, is unreal. People need to hear your story and I really want to help. I have no idea how. I’m just a tiny little fish in an even smaller pond, but somehow I want to help get your story told. People talk about a ‘defining moment’ for them, well I think listening to your CD was my defining moment.
Anyway, I’m pretty sure you must get loads of e-mails like this, and I feel a bit silly even sending it, but I’ll put it down to the jet lag and press send anyway.
Kind regards
Bev and Mark Thorogood

Hi Sam,
I cannot describe in words, English or Sign Language what an impact you made on my life on Saturday 7/12/08 at the Liberty League Conference in Hawaii. At the age of 53 I thought many times what is my purpose in life? Now the door is wide open!
1. People asked me after Saturday’s conference right up to the airport on Sunday afternoon, “What did you take away from the conference? I said only one word can describe what I took away, “Sam!” They all agreed.
2. Sam you are my HERO!
3. Would you please be MY MENTOR?
You and I connected from the get go. Your sense of humor is gripping. Your life story, so much I can relate to. You are so natural. The same quotes I use, Freedom is not free, You miss 100% of the shots you do not take (on my business cards). The poems you illustrated, all resonated with me.
After you gave me the honor of sharing a very small part of my story (# 8), I am still surprised at the number of people who were coming up to me and thanking me for sharing and indicating that it was inspiring. I got so much suggestions and comments about how I can help other people around the world with my story. They said I came off from the heart, genuine, the way I told my story. I am such a good speaker, develop it. These were EMC members at LLI as well as people from all over the globe. This is all news and a big surprise to me. Others asked were did you get the guts to go up there and tell your story? All I know is God answered my prayers, and Sammy you are part of that answer. Glory to God!
Anything I can do to help you or others, I am more than willing. Thank you once again my friend. God bless you and your family and the great contribution you are making to humanity. I look forward to hearing from you very soon!
Blessings!
Alex Stephen

Sam- Thank you Champion for both your ebook and the wonderful speech Saturday in Hawaii. I was very touched by your presentation and also very entertained. I would have been happy to listen to you for another few hours. Thank you for sharing your insights and special perspective.
I had many similar experiences in corporate america and left for the same reason you did. I was killing myself for a family I never saw for a company that didn’t care and who would replace me in a heart beat. I look forward to getting your CD and I have already shared your website with several others.
Best Wishes,
Kathryn Scott

Sam,
it was an honour to listen to you talk in Hawaii and share your story. You have given me so much to work on to improve my business but most of all to improve my self. Thank you for taking the time out to talk one and one with me (and pose for a photo).
You are a beautiful soul.

Dear Sam,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do. When you had us share our stories to one another, I realized that 16 years ago I had not 1 but 2 visions: I stepped out and decided to homeschool my children because I want them to be “the champions” they are called to be. I also was given a vision of having a home based business. I have tried many things, always assuming I’m really not cut out for business as my primary mission is to be a mom. We have allowed ourselves to believe that we are called to make sacrifices since I’m not in the work force. When I cam to Liberty League I knew I was at the right place at the right time, surrounding myself with people who were succeeding and willing to share their wins with me.
Thank you for allowing me to find my voice and to bring to clarity my vision and what is at stake. You reminded me that I am a champion, and I am called to be the best version of myself.
I wish you all of God’s blessings as you continue to change lives with your message. You are always welcome in our homes, in our lives and most of all in our hearts.
Your Champion in El Paso,
Jane

Sam,
You are a wealthy man! Full of life and heart, money has only a little to do with wealth. I love Liberty League and I am so honored to have you as one of our speakers. We only have one rule with Liberty League: “Come as you are” You expressed how important authenticity really is. After listening to you I woke up. I was able to see how important it is for me to get outside my comfort zone, share my story and share the profound community we have here with Liberty League. I would like to ask you to join us again. Your message is worth sharing at another event.
Thank you for taking the financial risk in order to take a stand for what means the most in your life..your family. You are here to wake us up! I see now that I am a “Fisher of Men” as well. Thansk for making all the differnece in my life. LOts of love- Mountain Lahela (Rachel)

P.S. Everyday is Saturday has been real in my life for over a year now Thanks to Liberty League. I make loads of money barefoot. I recommend dressing as if everyday is Saturday lose the suit dude! Wear flip-flops man, that is how I live and it feels great!

Thanks for the great comments Rachel, Jane, Lisa & Carol. Hawaii was fantastic. The venue was eclipsed only by the quality of people who were there.
I appreciate all the champions who plug into our community and spread the Every Day Is Saturday message.
You guys rock!
Peace,
Sam

My wife, daughter and I concurred that you were awesome!! Thanks for sharing your story with us. I have reviewed my notes three times already. We visited Maui for three more days after we left the conference. You and our first skydiving experience took top honors on this trip.

Sam,
So many things have been said already that I am not really sure what I can add. This was our first Liberty League event and all I can say is that you knocked our socks off (ok, knocked our flipflops off). Your story touched us in a way we had never been touched. Please let us know how we can help you, as it is only fair that we return what you have given us.
Rock On Champion!!!

Dear Sam,
I was so touched and moved by your story in Hawaii. Thank you so much. It resonated so deeply with me as I was a struggling single mom ER nurse for so many years, raising my son on my own from the time he was born…when you said your mom was your hero, it melted me. You are so inspiring and yeah, it was so hard to come home to DEFAULT! But we are the lucky ones who have discovered a way out of the rat race, dead zone that so many hurting, helpless, hopeless people dont know how to get out of. Praise God for Liberty League, and personal development and people like you that teach us there is a better way to follow our hearts and go after our passions and dreams. Thank you so much Sam. God bless you and your family, thank you for opening your hearts to us and all you shared, thank you for becoming a Fisher of Men.

Hi Sam!
Thank you so much for sharing your story with us in Hawaii! You really touched my heart, I found myself sobbing leading into the first break! I wasn’t ’sad’; just completely full of emotion!
If you ever do come to Australia, I know of about 160 Liberty League asociates that would be lining up to see you!
You are a CHAMPION Sam and I’m a better person for having met you.
Kind regards
Dianne Edgar
P.S. I’m still wearing my bracelet on the other wrist; it feels great!

Sam,
I wanted to let you know just how much hearing your story meant to me. It allowed me feel good about telling others my story — especially the things that have not been so honorable and have impacted others negatively. It is however through life experience and the mentors in our lives, that we too become the CHAMPIONS we were born to be and eventually mentor others as we model ourselves.
You reminded me just how precious, yet fragile, life can be at times and that the Universe asks only that we maintain an attitude of gratitude for all the blessings we have in order to be blessed abundantly.
I was proud to be a part of the Liberty League experience and having had the good fortune to hear your message. It just goes to show that all people, if we are open and listen, have the abiltiy to forever change and impact the lives of others.
You are a true CHAMPION Sam and thanks for bringing the message home
God/Goddess Bless you and your family

Hi Brett,
We have a ton of Aussie’s looking to bring the Every Day Is Saturday movement to their homeland. Suggestion: 30 person max 2 day boot camp in Melbourne.
Let’s make it happen! It will be off the charts

Hi Sam - we’re still tapping our feet to Stand Up For The Champions. Can’t believe it’s by the same band who gave us that gem I’m Too Sexy.
We’ve been inspired by your story so much and little bits of it keep coming back to us. One which really got me (Kieron) at the start of the day, was that you were a stutterer in your childhood - so was I, and it was humiliating as well as soul-destroying when other kids picked on me. Some of the looks I got when I told them that my goal (the G word) was to be a radio announcer/DJ were priceless; I smashed that goal less than 5 years later when I was only 14.
Thanks for the belief and emotion you brought to our community - you are a champion!!!
Kieron and Kristi Atkinson
PS - bring on Melbourne, we’ll be there.
Better still, how about Brisbane?? Everything happens in Sydney and Melbourne!

HI Sam,
Still recovering from crying for 4.5 hours with you and all my Liberty League family. What a cleansing and empowering expereince.
I’m so looking forward to sharing this message with the world, and using it in my happiness course.
My husband was so taken aback with my transformation coming home from Hawaii, he is quitting his job!! Woo Hoo!
Thanks for all you do.
With much gratitude and a watch on the other wrist,
Jodi
