Make Your Vocation Your Vacation
People ask me all the time “What does the Every Day Is Saturday experience feel like?”
Great question.
The best description I can provide is when your vocation becomes your vacation. It is when work and life blur and it’s becomes diffcicult to distinguish one from the other.
I had a little fun with the blog post yesterday titled http://everydayissaturday.com/blog/2008/07/28/your-boss-is-an-insecure-overweight-alcoholic-drug-addicted-spouse-cheating-arrogant-self-centered-dufus/
The purpose of the post was to grab your attention:) and also to speak to your heart
I love what I do.
Let me say that again I LOVE what I do. It’s the height of irony that a guy who stuttered in his youth feels at home on stage and hosting teleseminars. I thoroughly enjoy helping others gain clarity as to what their vocation /vacation is and watching them go through a massive transition. I cannot imagine doing anything else in my life.
It pains me to see people who are not in control of their life. They are a slave to a job, relationships, money or any number of others influences. It is my calling to help them. There is a Champion inside each and every human being. An inner voice saying “Let me out! I can be something in this world!”
The key is surrounding yourself with people who will empower you and help extract that inner champion before your days on earth are complete. If you read this blog regularly you are in the right ballpark, you have arrived at the exact place you need to be. You are eager to bring the inner champion out to play in the greatest game of all - Life.
Here’s to making your vocation your vacation
I believe you can do it!
