A Champion Of Multiple Sclerosis - Lauren Parrott
The following email came into my Facebook inbox this morning.
Please read the email and watch the corresponding video of a VERY courageous young lady named Lauren Parrott. She is battling MS (multiple sclerosis) and is sharing her story (sound familiar? Sam Crowley 101) very publicly to help inspire other champions with MS. I watched the entire video in amazement at how awesome Lauren’s spirit is and how she will change so many lives.
Her boyfriend Anthony Legree sent the email on behalf on Lauren.
Anthony: Thanks for the email brother
Lauren: You are a Champion!

Sam,
My brother (Brian Legree) and I listen to your podcasts and believe in your message of Every Day is Saturday! We both have started our own businesses and are doing very well.
I am writing however, on behalf of my girlfriend of over 8 years Lauren Parrott. She is an incredible person, and the reason I am writing is because of your message about “sharing your story”. Lauren has shared her story about being a patient with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and has developed what she calls an “international support group” on Youtube.
If you have the time I would encourage you to check out her story and see some of the comments she has received from around the world! http://www.youtube.com/wat
I understand that you are extremely busy, but wanted to bring it to your attention, because it is very inspirational and an example of how “sharing your story” can help people from all aspects of life. She has been in contact with many people. People that she/we would have never had anything in common with, such as race, religion, politics…etc. the list could go on forever. The similarity that everyone has in common is that they have been affected by either having MS or knowing someone or having a relationship with someone that has the disease. She has been public speaking about MS and her story for the past few months and has received great feedback. I could go on forever about her experiences working at ABC’s Good Morning America, and her experiences with public speaking and television forever, but understand that you are a very busy person.
I apologize for the length of the message, but really beleive in the positive message.
Thanks for your time,
Anthony LeGree
