Every Day Is Saturday 2 Day Boot Camp – Wow!

June 16, 2009, Category: Personal Development

This past weekend was AMAZING!

The first ever Every Day Is Saturday two day boot camp kicked off and lives were changed forever! We had champions come to our event all the way from New Zealand, Alberta, Canada and all points of the United States.

Why?

Why would someone invest two days (more when factoring travel) and time away from their families, to attend a personal development seminar?

Answer: because this personal development seminar is light years away from anything else you have seen in the marketplace.

My partner Brian McElroy and I intentionally limited the attendance to less than 30 people because we wanted to teach rather than just speak and leave. We targeted people with huge dreams but limited knowledge of how to launch their own Saturday business.

We were so focused on helping every person that came to the boot camp, that we even flew in our JV Manager Sean McAlister teach people how to find a hungry market once their product is developed

We were looking for highly motivated, skilled individuals who had huge dreams – and boy did we find them!

Everyone in attendance listened, took tons of notes, networked with other attendees and genuinely helped each other come up with ideas that would launch their Saturday business.

I guess I should explain exactly what ‘Saturday Business’ means.

A Saturday Business is simply monetizing your passion. It is working in an industry you absolutely LOVE. A business where you look up at the clock and can’t believe the day has ended so soon.

Most people stare at the clock in anticipation of lunch, break times and the end of the day. Time drags as they slave away at something they dislike. They’re working for bosses they don’t respect, knowing it is simply a means to an end.

What we teach in The Every Day Is Saturday Academy is the same formula I used myself. It’s a combination of mindset training and effective entrepreneurial business teaching that is found nowhere else.

You have real peolpe (Sam Crowley & Brian McElroy) pulling back the curtain on their real business. It’s not a bunch of hyped up motivation that you come down from 48 hours later. Nor is it some get-rich-quick Internet or stock-trading seminar that promises you will be a millionaire before your next credit card bill arrives.

The mindset I used to escape the 9 to 5 is priceless. The business skills Brian implements to live the ultimate mobile lifestyle are unique and worth millions.

The joy I had seeing our boot camp attendess with their diplomas at the end of the second day cannot be described. It was a vision I had four years ago when all the dead people I worked alongside were simply tryng to make it to Friday and stay out of trouble.

Now the Every Day Is Saturday brand is being identified with empowerment, success and awesome teachings.

We’ve only just begun.

I would love to see you at our next two day event.

All you need to implement the teachings is a dream. Easier said than done, just look around you. Dreamers and positive people are difficult to find. I know where you can find an entire room full – our next boot camp:)

SAM! Thanks a million! As one of the graduates of your first Boot Camp, I’ve got to share the feelings I had with anyone reading this. I was light-headed at the end, I didn’t want to leave. I’m much more excited than when I was handed my college degree. Thanks to you and Brian and the others, I KNOW what I will be doing in the coming weeks, and I know I’m going to enjoy it. My business, like yours, is coaching and helping people. But if I have no people to talk to, how will anyone ever know what I am offering? You’ve given me the tools to get out there.

I’ve heard it said “Never make a decision without taking a corresponding action.” I knew I wanted to attend the 2-Day Boot Camp, and though it was a stretch, I took action to get there and made it happen. It was worth it many times over. Sam Crowley is excitable and passionate describing his vision But let me tell you, when it came down to it, Sam OVERDELIVERED the goods. Get to his next workshop!

I came to the Boot Camp not knowing what to expect. I had little time to even listen to the 6daystosaturday CDs prior to that and had some limited time with Barbi in learning what was going on. We talked all the way back from Orlando. I came away with a much better feeling and a determination to move forward with my own dream which I think will fit well into the EDIS message. As I mentioned to you Sam, I also had one of those discussions with a 9 year old daughter relating to Dad being away (I was 1300 miles away) and getting back home for longer than a few days every 3 months. The people at the Boot Camp had incredible stories to tell and some very great Dreams (actually, all the Dreams were great). I am stepping forward with small steps and am determined to make these larger steps to fulfull my dream. Thank you for the opportunity and may the dream stealers drop along side the road!
