Every Day Is Saturday Is A Mindset – Not A Circumstance

October 28, 2008, Category: Personal Development

Yesterday I opened up my Inner Circle Teleseminar - exclusive to coaching clients - to anyone who wished to attend. I do this once in a while to give back. Giving starts the receiving process. I learned this when I went broke. I began to give of my time and my money – what little I had at the time.

I noticed that things began happening in my life that were a bit unusual. It was as if the world was conspiring to pay me back for the good I was giving. I don’t believe that you give to get, I think it’s the other way around – You get to give.

Never do I feel as good as when I am able to help someone in a time of need. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t go out of my way to help negative people or people who continue to take, take, take, – that’s not what I mean. I am speaking about champions who if helped, will get back on their feet and pay it forward in the form of time and/or money.

Chris Widener lit up the lines yesterday speaking about his story and the power of making every day Saturday. He said something that I began implementing the minute I hung up the phone: Saturday is a mindset, not a circumstance.

By that he meant: If someone loves to do research in a laboratory every day for 10 hrs and can’t believe how fast the time goes by, that is their Saturday. They are doing what they love while serving a huge purpose in the world. I began using that tag line everywhere – I Love it!

How awesome would the world be if everyone was doing what they truly loved to do? If at the end of the day, employees and business owners alike were upset that they had to call it a day because they were having so much fun.

That’s exactly why Every Day Is Saturday was started and that’s what I promote each day. Chris just happened to put it into the perfect format – Thanks Chris.

One other thing: If we haven’t connected on Facebook yet, please be sure to invite me as your friend. You can do so by clicking HERE and inviting me. If you do not have a Facebook account, it’s free to set up. I just created a new group today and would love to have as many champions as possible in the group sharing their success stories. Just search in the groups section for (you guessed it) Every Day Is Saturday – it’s free to join.
