Yesterday I decided to clear the history of websites saved in my browser. On this particular computer, all I do is simply click on “tools”, and then choose “delete browsing history.” Really nothing to it at all. The next time I type a web address into my browser address bar, it’s as though it’s the first time I have typed it. Nothing is pre-programmed, all previous web addresses have been erased and I’m starting from scratch.

What if you could do that for some your own personal history? Erase things such as business failures, relationship that went sour, and a whole host of other negative experiences that cause you to be tentative the next time you venture into that space again.

Champion Nugget: Keeping your negative experiences can help you more than deleting them, but you need to view them for what they are: incredible learning tools. You’ve heard the saying “Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.” If we do not learn from history we are doomed to repeat it. Many of you would like to simply click on the life button that says “Delete History” but you need to really think about what benefit that would provide.

You’ve made bad decisions in the past? Welcome to the Champion Club.

Maybe you trusted someone or some company to treat you right and were disappointed, no biggie - you won’t make the same mistake twice right? You see, I honestly believe that those of us that are willing to put ourselves out there, can be invaluable to others who may head down that same road. You and I both know, most people are back seat drivers, they take no action and critique others. You need to take action and report back to other champions about what you have learned.

Wherever I speak, people say “Sam, I just can’t do what you did. There is no way I can walk away from a six figure job - period.” Then I ask “Do you have children? Would you walk away from them? Do you have dreams? Would you walk away from them?”

Until the pain gets to be so unbearable that you can’t stand it any longer, you will never think abolut what you are truly walking away from. “But Sam, what about things like health insurance? I need the security of knowing my medical bills will be paid in the event of an emergency.” Each situation is different when it comes to your health. In 2003 I hired a personal trainer and began monitoring certain things I ate. I never considered myself out of shape until I started working with someone who was actually in shape. My whole outlook changed on health and I must admit, aside from a couple bouts with the common cold, I have not been ill in the past five years. As for the cost of health insurance, you can pay COBRA rates when you leave your employer or you can do research as to what best fits your family’s needs. If I wanted to maintain the current insurance I enjoyed in my previous job, it would have cost me $1200 a month. I declined, and instead invested in a health care account complete with insurance and prescription coverage for $250 per month. I do not profess to be an expert on health care, it’s just an example of eliminating one objection for leaving a job and going off on your own.

As I tell everyone, the road to where I have arrived has not been easy - not by a long shot - but I wouldn’t trade it for any other experiences out there. And the best part is, I’m 39 years old with alot left in my tank, we’re just getting warmed up!

Had I let all my negative past experiences drive my decision-making process, I would still be stuck in a corner office paralyzed by fear, getting updates at night from my wife how our daughters were doing in school and what new things they learned that day or that week.

Don’t look to delete your negative history just yet. Learn from the mistakes you have made and vow to use that as valuable information on your way to success. Stop beating yourself up over things you cannot change. You will not add one more minute to your life by worrying. You can however add many years to your life by taking action.

Go for it.

You are a champion.

Sam

Hello Champion,

It’s been some time since I last posted to the Everday Is Saturday blog or for that matter, recorded a podcast. Looks like I better get my backside in gear:)

I preach time and again about the importance of attending live events. CD’s, DVD’s and books are great food for the mind, but there is no substitute for getting out and networking among fellow champions.

When I spoke in Atlanta two weeks ago, I delivered a 90 minute keynote presentation in less than 20 minutes. The presentation is titled “Don’t Ask For Life To Get Easier, Ask For You To Get Better.” No notes, no slides - just 20 minutes of Sam Crowley unplugged. Here are a few of the comments that came into my email less than 24 hrs later:

Sam Crowley Rocks!

It was nice seeing you last weekend. Kelly and I had a blast!!! I can’t even tell you how much we learned from the trip…. it was an awesome experience. We are definitely going to do things differently in the Lambert house… fired up!

Thanks man… I’ll talk with you soon.

- Chris & Kelly Lambert, Ohio

============

”Will i Quit”

My answer is NO. But will YOU quit on
your Future and your Dreams.

The last speaker with John Di Lemme was a guy named Sam Crowley who made a
commitment 3 years ago to spend every day with his children.

He now does because he did not QUIT…

- Shelia C. Sleep, Australia

=========

Sam Crowley (Main Event MC) - Sam did an fantastic job as the MC through out the entire

Main Event. Sam talked about adversity. I was in bootcamp one with Sam back in 2006. I was

very moved by Sam’s story of what he had recently gone through. Some of his story hit too close

to home for me. He said comfortable is going to kill you and I have allowed myself to get

comfortable. I am not going to let my dream die!

- Lorraine B. , Indiana

===============

I thought the weekend was brilliant and then I heard the shortest
teaching of the weekend from Sam Crowley and it touched my
heart in a way it hasn’t been touched before. My own personal
circumstances are not a million miles away from Sam’s and I
took massive inspiration from him. What a role model he is…

- Andy Beston, United Kingdom

===================

The Main Event was an incredible, life changing event.. As a speaker your story was inspirational, as MC, you did a great job. It was a pleasure to meet you and share some words of wisdom. I look forward to seeing you again..

Ray Anderson Vancouver, British Columbia

==========

So I ask you Champion: Will you quit on your dream? Will you continue to take financial advice from broke people? Will you continue to take direction from someone simply because they have the title of manager or supervisor or V.P. of xyz? I mentor CEO’s and executives all around the world and I can tell you firsthand (and they would too if they could) - they have more problems than you do. Infedility in their marriage, addictions to drugs & alcohol, children who have all the toys they could ever want and no parents at home because they are slaves to a profession chasing something they will never catch.

You are in better than than 90% of executives in corporate America but you can’t see it. Listen to me: God, Family, Health & Business - that’s the order for true happiness. Get those four things in order and start your path to success today. I’ve been to the bottom as recently as two years ago and I can tell you one thing: God never leaves you - your kids still love you and your health will not fail if you diet and exercise. Get those three in order FIRST and then focus on money.

I received a standing ovation in Atlanta because I told the truth. It’s been a long and sometimes painful journey the past three years but I’m still here - and you are too.

Suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope” ( Romans 5:3-4)

As your coach I am telling you to get your priorities in line and do not focus on money until God, family & health are there. Focus on making a difference and your cup will runneth over…

You are a Champion

Sam

I kicked off the event by welcoming everyone in attendance as well as all the champions watching via streaming video around the world. Then I introduced myself and the Everyday Is Saturday Story, which I will be revealing in its entirety during my presentation tomorrow evening.

John Di Lemme was the first speaker. John gave an awesome message titled “Seven Bullets To Defeat The Enemy.” Today, John is re-recording his Power Of A Dream message that he first recorded live at Les Brown’s event over five years ago. The Power Of A Dream CD was the first motivational CD I ordered from John’s website back in 2004. I listened to the CD everyday for three staright months and still lsiten to the CD before every speech I give - truly an awesome message.

The next speaker was David Dweck, who is a successful real estate broker & investor in South Florida. David explained how awesome the real estate market is in the US right now (if you’re a buyer) and how you can make a killing if you know what you’re doing. David is a gem. He has forgotten more about real estate investing than most will ever learn. David & I will be spending time together in May as I look for a home for our family in South Florida. Anyone who knows me, understands my real estate investing philosophy : I will NOT buy a piece of property for more than $.50 on the dollar. I fully expect to purchase a million dolloar home in South Florida for $500K or less. Stay tuned for the updates…

Glenn Dietzel was the next speaker. Glenn’s presentations are always first class. Glenn is a former vice prinicipal who quit his job to follow his dream - sound familiar? He was on the fast track to being the superintendant for his Ontario school district which would have been a death sentence for his dream. Glenn stepped out and now runs his multi-million dollar business showing people how they can author their own book and grow rich.

The docket is jam packed today, beginning with Dr John Maxwell at 11am and ending with our VIP dinner this evening.

The atmosphere is electric and a complete 180 degrees from what you experience on a daily basis. Instead of hearing “Thank God it’s Friday.” This group is screaming Everyday Is Saturday!

Fired Up From Atlanta!

I arrived in Atlanta today around 2:30pm after an awesome flight in from Buffalo, NY. As I walked over to Ruby Tuesday’s around 3pm for a late lunch, I asked myself why it was I lived in the northeast?? It’s 70 degrees and sunny without a cloud in the sky!

I’m in town Wednesday through Sunday to speak at John Di Lemme’s Main Event with Dr John Maxwell, Coach Ken Carter, Loral Langemeier and many more. It’s a three day event which has been sold out for weeks and will no doubt change the lives of all several hundred champions in attendance.

I will be the MC which means two things: 1) I’ll be the only guy dressed in a tuxedo for three straight days and 2) I’ll be the only one speaking from stage all three days - not bad for an ex-stutterer. I haven’t been this fired up in quite some time!

What a crazy start to 2008.

Michael Cheney, Matt Mazur and myself launched the VERY controversial site www.LieOfAttraction yesterday. All three of us are financially free and are tired of seeing people buying into this law of attraction crap. I do subscribe to the logic that you find yourself in situations by how you think and who you surround yourself with, however, I’ll be darned if I sit and listen to “Johnny with the maxed out credit cards” posting on forums about how he manifested a front row parking spot at Kroger’s by thinking about it. Come on!

Go to www.LieOfAttraction.com and get the free “antidote” for the Big Lie.

It’s 5:30pm ESt and I’m meeting with a fellow investor in a land devlopment deal we’re involved with in the state of Alabama - Gulf Shores. This morning started with a meeting with my new property manager. He’s been on the job for two weeks and I’m already giving him the keys to all 47 units and no supervision. Managing people is pretty easy when you hire the right team. I’m confident in his ability to run the show in my absence. If you can’t leave town for five days then you really don’t own a business - the business owns you. What’s the worst that can happen anyway? Time to relax and focus on tonight’s meeting as well as the Main Event this weekend. If you’re in the area, it’s not too late to make an appearance. Send an email to my assisstant Melissa at info@everydayissaturday.com with the subject “I Want In The Main Event” and we’ll pull the necessary strings. Click Here for a full preview of the event.

If you’ve sent an email in the past four weeks inquiring about one-on-one coaching, we will be opening a few slots May 1st for select champions who want to be financially free. send Melissa an email at the address I just gave and we’ll call you with more details on the Saturday Lifestyle Coaching Program. You can also reach us on the Champion Hotline 888-311-EDIS (3347).

Fired Up to be in the capital of the South.

More to come with photos of champions from all around the world.

Stay focused on your dream and never let anyone tell you EVERYDAY cannot be Saturday!

You are a Champion!

The # 1 question asked of me: How do I make the leap from corporate slave to full time human being, living the life I love?

First of all, it is not a leap. It is a gradual change in your belief that you are indeed special and capable of doing awesome, unbelivebale things with your life. But don’t look to anyone around you at work for this type of guidance. It is very unusual ( read the “Salmon Lesson” in my e book for more clarity).

Most people spend $100K on an education to prepare them to get the best job and work for someone else the rest of their life. Entrepreneurs like myself, coach people to own businesses versus working for businesses. Would you rather flip burgers and yell “fries are up!” or would you prefer to actully own the fast food store? It’s a silly quesiton but most simply cannot see themselves as successful entrepreneurs. An oh by the way, just because you wear and suit and tie to work doesn’t mean you’re any different than the Whopper Floppers. Take out “Fries are up!” and insert “Here’s your report boss.”

So what makes someone take the big leap from slave to a job to freedom for life?

Change your thoughts.

Stop associating with people who have limiting beliefs. If you’re going to lunch with people who have maxed out credit cards, smoke, drink or cheat on their spouse - run for the hills. Devleop a belief system that you YES YOU can change your life right now. Start believing. Without the proper thought process you can forget about taking action, you will be stifled by your negative thoughts.

My three favorite books to help anyone on their way to living the life they love and making that gradual change from stressed out slave to Champion are: Rich Dad Poor Dad, Think And Grow Rich and Richest Man In Babylon. I still refer to these three classics when I am seeking wisdom.

Remember, it’s not a huge one time leap into the success arena. It is slow methodical daily action steps that after awhile, you look back and say “Wow, I made it! The journey seemed so long and difficult while I was in it but as I look back it really wasn’t that bad.” Then you transfer that knowledge to someone else who is ready to receive. Giving starts the receiving process.

You are a champion.

P.S. Will I see you next week in Atlanta at The Main Event? Click Here to see the all-star lineup of speakers who will absolutely change your thought life!

I was in Clarion, PA last night watching my alama mater (my only alma mater by the way, I struggled to get through two years of college) The Bradford Owls, kick butt in a high school basketball playoff game. I rode to the game with family friends from my childhood and saw many people I grew up with in Bradford.

The game was awesome, the kids played hard and the city of Bradford was well-represented by it’s community. The fans rallied behind the team as they won another state playoff game, on their way to State College, PA Friday night for the state quarterfinal.

The entire evening reminded me that the best things in life free. From the beautiful two hour drive through the Allegany National Forest and the timeless PA country roads, to warm people who are proud of their small town.

It prompted today’s Everyday Is Saturday Show.

Give it a listen and see if all your material possessions can amount to one night with friends and family.

Head on over now to The Everyday Is Saturday Show.

Bradford, PA - City Of Champions

In a goal to produce more quality content more frequently, I will be condensing The Everyday Is Saturday Show into 5-6 minutes, versus the current 18-21 minute format.

It will allow me to create more podcasts because of the length of time and allow the listeners to focus on one topic at a time. Some have emailed me saying the Everyday Is Saturday shows are awesome but it’s like drinking out of a fire hose of information.

Today’s show is the first of the shorter - but more powerful- messages. It is Titled “Change Your Scene.”

Take a listen: Click Here for today’s show.

You are a champion.

My friend Brian Rodgers asked me to create a video kicking off his 12 week success training teleseminar series. The success training is for his elite Paltinum clients and will be an incredible 12 week event. I blogged about Brian a few weeks ago, his story is one that never gets old. He’s a C- college student who runs a 22,000 membership site that helps professionals around the world manage and market their business. Brian is a multi-millionaire and a great guy to boot. I joke with Brian that I have him beat, since I only have about 30 college credits and most of those are health and gym class.

Anyway, I shot the video in my backyard in sub-zero weather. How cold do I look in this video?

I was fired up to promote the event, knowing there will be thousands of champions on the line next week.

Take a look
