Entreprenurial Lesson From Radio Shack: Evolve or Die

What happened to Radio Shack?

When I was a kid growing up in the 70’s and 80’s – I used to go to Radio Shack all the time for my electronic needs.
And….. there lies the problem.

In an age when all we want is everything and we want it faster than ever, we go to online and buy from places like Amazon.com.
Of course, if you use Amazon’s Prime membership for $79/yr, then you can have everything shipped for free in two days.
Why bother getting in your car, dealing with traffic – only to end up at a store where you have to look around, wait in lines, etc.

And on and on it goes.

They say a millionaire values their time at $534/hr.
How much money are you wasting with different time vampires in your life?

By the way.
Radio Shack stock was trading at $22 a share five years ago.
Now it’s around $2 a share.

Great lessons to be learned in today’s show.
