Six years ago this week I quit my job.
So I recorded a video in my kitchen.
After leaving my six figure job of 15 yrs, I went broke.
Not cool.
Then I went back to a job for another 18 months, definitely not cool. As a matter of fact it took all I had not to have a nervous breakdown.
However, it was by far the best period of my life because of who I had to become.
If you want to have a life of freedom and have complete control over what you do and when you do it, while helping a large number of people - these next few videos are crucial.
You'll get inside my mind (a very scary place to be at times) and see the truth behind escaping the rat race for good.

I can always count on you to get me fired up and ready to charge through the day creating more momentum with each passing hour. You're awesome! And you also did a nice job with your kitchen
Rock on Joyce!
I loved your video and say YESS!! I have been planning my corporate escape and 1/2 of the way through my plan,,guess what? I got laid off last week. Yahoo!!! Talk about timing. I can so appreciate someone else who is also ab normal!!! I look forward to your blogs.

Enjoyable as always, I am looking forward to the next few days videos.
After years of telling myself I was going to do it, I finally resigned from my main source of income in March. I have gotten together with some colleagues and I am helping them to launch their range of natural skincare products which will be huge when it gets going and have almost finished a book which I will be starting to market in the next few weeks.
Still hanging on by a shoestring financially but I am confident that this will change over the next few months. Getting to spend lots of quality time with my children which is great. You are an inspiration.
I so like the fact you are ab-normal, above normal, you are inspiring and speak from the heart. I have not moved completely to working for myself, I temp 2/3 days a week, the other two I type away above my garage having started a small P.A. business for those business people who need back up remotely.
I will keep watching your videos and smiling as I did today all the way through, cause you are right, life is for living and being inspired...from my small empire, the garage!...thank you. Ness
I love you Sam!
You are so right, it is about the person one becomes on the journey! Priceless! I went for it, and also went broke, but as I've heard you say I may have been knocked down but I'm not out. It was great meeting you in PR last month. Thanks for keeping it real. Jason
Sam, I really enjoy your teachings. I'm now half-way through the "Every Day is Saturday" course, and it is life-changing. This week I'm working on writing answers to the key questions: Who am I? Where am I going? What do I need to do to get there? Although much of this stuff is already in my head, your encouragement to take action will make all the difference. Thank you so much--and love the videos!!
Hi Sam.
You are a delight and great inspiration to me! I fell in love with you and everyday is Saturday in PR. Trying desperately to make my new wmi business work. Dead broke, in debt a little with no help but I believe like you do I can make this work for me and my future. Joyfully working at home and excited about tomorrow!

Too bad you never say what it is you're offering! I just kept saying "cut to the chase" but you never did. I don't need the rah rah stuff. I need nuts and bolts - how to make money online. I'll check out your next video - hopefully it will get to the good stuff. Thanks.
@ Teri,
If you didn't care for today's video, you definitely will not like tomorrow's lesson.
Teri may not like it, but I will! Come on, Sam, bring it baby! I've got a brand new 2 month old son, and ain't no way am I going to give him a reason to sing that damned "Cats in the Cradle" song when he grows up! Fired up!
Luv it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you!
All I can say is you Rock Sam! I empower working moms to do the same thing. Quit the job and live your passion. Break out of the old 1980's work till you die and sock away in a 401k, or is it 000k paradigm? looking forward to the next video.
Hey Sam,
Too bad Teri completely missed it. What you are offering is YOU. It is the best gift you can give... and what you give is HUGE. You have given me that gift and inspired me in ways I can't even explain yet......just keep on......being fired up! I love being fired up because it makes people wonder what I'm up to....
Hi Sam,
Top class stuff as always - and happy anniversary! I came across an Einstein quote yesterday - " Try not to become a man of success but rather to become a man of value" and you seem like a template for this - I want to become a man of value just like you!
Ricky
Sam,
I blew you up - expanded the screen - to see just how fired up you are. Not a bone or facial muscle twitched. You are real and so is your message.

Great video Sam!
My wife is a world-class pianist (no, she really is). And she was commenting on how she can't NOT play piano. That's what the EDIS "emotional bow" you talk about is. The thing you can't NOT do. And EDIS keeps us focused on that, and it's that focus that impels us to go find the nuts-and-bolts training to help us realize our Saturday. For example, I had looked at coach training programs in the past - but it was only after I got EDIS that I studied and got certified, and now an studying for certification an NLP program.
Thanks Sam!

P.S. Do you have an EDIS event planned? Do you want help in getting one up and running?
Thanks for the words Sam!! BTW: Kitchen looks great!
Hi Sam,
Nice video, good motivational talk but the kitchen looks like something out of a corporate magazine, I was expecting something more unconventional, also cupboards like that are easy to fit so you could have done it yourself without any hassle and as you are at home all day would have saved you some cash, grief and you could have got your kids to help.
PS I still haven't had a reply from my questions on the forum.
This video reminds me of a short conversation I had with an ex-boss of mine after I showed up late one day:
Him: "What, you think you're doing us a favor by working here?"
Me: "Yeah."
Him: "I'll have you know I got a stack of application *this* high in this drawer."
Me: "Let's see'em."
Him: "What?"
Me: "We're down several people and I'm having to pick up the slack around here without any extra pay, so if you got that many applicants I want to know why you haven't hired them to fill the positions."
Him: "Well...just go back to work. I'll let you know what I decide later."
I worked there another two years after this and intentionally showed up late a least a couple days a week during that time before I finally decided to fire *them*.
I hope all of you can derive a valuable lesson from this.
@ Anonymous,
Great post!
Damn, I wish you weren't anonymous, you deserve credit for that awesome story.
You rock! I don't know what it is that I want to do but I do know that I don't want to continue what I am doing. I have a dream in me somewhere I just have to find the time to relax enough to figure it out. Going to work each day is painful and I would like for it to be over but need the paycheque like most people.
Thank you for the video.
Hi Sam! You are a great messenger......and I love your message!
Hello Sam -- thanx you for the Bob Proctor call that I was on last night. I like your face. I like your voice. I like you. I had a very nice job for 25 years until I got laid off along with a slew of others. Marvel Comics. You may have heard of it. I met my artist husband while employed there. It spoiled me for a "job" in the real world. It wasn't right for just anybody but I think you would have fit in there. Just another reason why I like you. You have that playful sense of humor that is lacking is so many people. Your kids must adore you. You have my attention, I look forward to the next video.
